My name is Orlando, I'm 15 years old and I was born in Guinea Bissau.
What does Home mean to me? It is an emotion, a feeling hard to describe. It is connected to the great times that I spent with my friends during my early childhood. Guinea-Bissau is a vibrant country full off live and open people, who help each other and who great each other without knowing one another.
The weather does have an impact, a warm and pleasant climate, that due to the many trees feels fresh. The countryside has a fascinating scent, and the beautiful beaches, the blue water and the clear skies, yes even the tropical fruit completes the uniqueness of it all. However, home is not just tangible things, it is also about the way people interact, how to welcome a guest and to be good host, how to respect each other. God is with me when I reminisce about the good times I had with my friends and relatives, but God loves me when I am there, the place that I call Home.
