When my parents told me, we would move to the Netherlands, I thought it was great!
My biggest problem was, I would have to find new friends. I hoped to have nice teachers and nice kids at school, with whom I would be able to talk.
The first week at school was fine, I did not expect that they would all be so nice to me, especially as at my previous school in Germany, the other kids were racists. But every beginning is hard. One has to get used to the new language and another mentality. My only problem was the content of some of the school subjects; parts were already known to me and other parts was totally new to me!
