My Life in Libya
Libya is a country that borders on Egypt, Tunisia, Niger, Tschad and Sudan. It is an Islamic country, where people speak Arabic. The Muezzin calls 5 times a day that it is time for prayers. The local currency is the Libyan Dinar. The average temperatures vary between 20 and 35 degrees Celsius. There are many oil sources in this country, that is why a litre of petrol is cheaper than a litre of water. It is a shame that they do not clean the plastic garbage away, it is everywhere. On holidays you can make interesting day trips or go take a tour in the desert. The Sahara is in the bottom half of Libya. In the Akakus mountains you can see really strange shaped rocks and cliffs. From Tripoli you can easily get to Tunisia or Egypt to enjoy a holiday.
