"I used to live in England and when I first heard I was going to move to Germany, I thought it was great and I was sure I would have no problems with the language or anything, because my mum and my grandparents are German and I had been to Germany many times.
But once I started at a German school, I found out how little German I actually knew.
Because I lived in a German village everyone at the school knew each other except me! But there was one girl in my class who had also just moved to the village and she became my best friend. My German was getting very good and now we were going to move again, to another village near Munich. First I got really mad, and did not want to move at all, but once I heard I was going to the international school, that was far better, I thought it wouldn't be so bad - and it wasn't. Now I have loads of friends, my life has become a lot more interesting, but I am still in touch with my friends from the village near Frankfurt where I used live."
